Having fun in Ventura and Atlanta :-)

I will write this posting in English as a courtesy to my relatives that do not read Norwegian.
It has been a week since I last put something on my blog.  Well, we have been tavelling around, planned and not planned.  My aunt an uncle had to go to California tuesday and wednesday and asked us to come along.  We said yes of course... :-) It has been many years since we last visited Ventura and Ojai in California.  Much colder but sunny of course ;-) 
It was a nice trip and we even went shopping.  And most important of all: dinner at Casa de Lago.  Best mexican food in the world.  I really miss that place...

Thursday we were just relaxing. After all it is vacation...he, he, he ;-)  Not relaxing all the time.  I found tickets for Sunniva to come with us to Atlanta the next day.  Took me some phone calls and too much money, but at last we ended up with getting the ticket on hold.  None of my Norwegian creditcards got accepted by Airtran!  I was mad and got the money in cash and paid at the counter in the airport in Las Vegas when we left friday.
After about an hour to get everything straight.... it took them a bunch of people, phonecalls and discussing...But, in the end we got assigned seats next to each other and was finally ready to visit Finn and Stacey in Atlanta.
Finn was picking us up at the airport in Atlanta.  It was a totally different place then Las Vegas.  Green, trees all over and cooler.  We loved their house! and dog of course ;-) It was nice to be in a house with  a dog.  I really miss my own...

We had  a really good time with Finn and Stacey.  Good food and great company :-)  We went to the aquarium in Atlanta.  It is supposed to be the largest in the world and it really was great.  They even have whalesharks!

Yesterday was another relaxing day :-) Out for brunch, then some shopping, before we ended up in the pool.  Floating around, drinking and listening to music.  We are so lucky to be able to do all this stuff!
At th end of the day we had dinner at Finn and Stacey`s place.  Barbeque, and it was fantastic :-) Next time we will stay longer...
Stacey drove us to the airport this morning and now we are back in the hot dessert... To days in St George Utah now before we return to moster and uncle Paul wednesday.
Vacation, I just love it ;-)
